About Afab Photo Tours

Expertise, access, and meaning — the three ideas that shape everything we do.

Our Story

Built on Relationships, Guided by Purpose

Afab Photo Tours began with a simple observation: some of the most beautiful wildlife and landscapes in Texas live on private land, quietly out of reach for most photographers. Over time, our founders built genuine, lasting relationships with the landowners who care for these places — relationships rooted in trust, respect, and a shared love of the land.

As a result, we're able to offer something rare: guided access to private ranches where wildlife thrives undisturbed. However, access alone isn't enough to create a great photograph. That's why every Afab trip is led by experienced guides who understand animal behavior, natural light, and the patience it takes to capture a truly meaningful image.

Today, our mission remains the same as it was on day one: to create curated trips that help participants capture meaningful experiences, not just great images. Whether you're a seasoned professional or picking up a camera for the first time, we're here to help you slow down, look closer, and come home with photographs — and memories — worth keeping.
